When i put the fire on at home, it makes me feel like ive been drugged?

Question:

Its not carbon monoxide poisoning because we have a tester and no one else gets it apart from me. Its doesnt happen when i am awake only if i am sleeping, for example, my dad comes in from working nights and puts the fire on, immediately when i eventually wake up(which is so hard) i immediatley know its been on as i can feel completely groggy, this feeling lasts all day as if i have been drugged? Is there anything I can do?

if you are being serious get it checked out
this sounds like carbon monoxide poisoning
deadly if your not careful
your tester might not be working, get someone in to check it

There's definately something going on here - is the room well ventilated?
