I am recovering from prk right now (3 days out) It is a bit uncomfortable, but totally manageable. I was prepared for pain and discomfort 1000 times worse. Not that bad. I was able to go out to dinner last night. Just make sure that you have 3 days to totally devote to sleep if needed. I had HORRIBLE vision and I already have to OK to drive from my doctor GLASSES FREE!

i have heard it is the most painful experience ever. This was from an RN that had it done and she said she wasn't eligible for lasik. She also said she had been through all sorts of pain and none of it compared to this. she had to be off for a week and had to have her husband do everything for her because she couldn't see. She said if I ever had the choice then to always choose lasik over prk.
