When can a person start driving after a acl reconstruction surgery?

i had undergone the surgery of anterior cruciate ligament about 22 days back. can i start driving long distance.

Answers:
I started driving two weeks after the procedure.
The general rule of thumb is when you can weight bear on the injured leg. Depending on which leg and what type of vehicle you are driving (automatic/manual) and whether its your right leg or not factors in.
