I can't seem to keep my contacts in any longer then a couple of hours. Will my eyes always be this sensitive

You are new to wearing contacts. That itchy feeling is normal (it feels like you have an eyelash in your eye).
Wear the lenses for a few hours a day until you get used to them.

It's (your eyes) dry thats why. B&L had this brand of contacts that is made for sensitive eyes as well as for dry eyes.
If you are wearing disposables, the monthly ones, try replacing them a week before they're due to be replaced.
Have you been wearing contacts for a long time? Contscts user for more than 5 years tend to suffer more from that dilemma: dry eyes or sensitive eyes.
Ask your ophthalmologist if youre experiencing great discomfort or pain from using contacts. Your eyes might have microscopic scratches in it. Better check with the doc ok?

I wear contacts too, your eyes will either get use to them or you may need to try another brand of lenses to solve the problem.
If you are a new contact wearer, this is normal. On the first day you wear contacts, wear them for 4 hours... next day 5 hours.. etc etc.
you need to build up the amount of time you can wear them. Are you sure it's the contacts? it may be the saline solution that you are sensitive to. Try to hang in there and see if after say a week you are able to wear your contacts for longer. If not, you may want to talk to the eye doctor and see what he/she would recommend.
