sometimes when i wear soft my soft contacts, my eyeballs and head will hurt! is that normal ?
Question:
Answers:
Indeed, there are headaches and migraines reported with the use of contact lenses, so it is not weird, although not very common. I'm a doctor and I have had 2 similar cases, but I can tell you from my personal experience that it has happened to me, because I have got a headache every now and then when I wear my contacts. I wasn't so sure, but I just attended a conference by a very good Neurologist at the institution were I work and he mentioned the contact-lens-induced migraine. The pain in your eyeballs is usually the same headache too. If this happens frequently when you wear your contacts, try taking 1-2 pills of Motrin before you wear them and most likely you won't get the headache.
If they are irritated and itchy you may also have some allergies. And remember that ideally contact lenses should be worn only for some hours (ideally less than 4 hours) to prevent inflammation. Of course you can wear them longer, but it'll probably irritate your eyes.
Other Answers:
No, not really.
You should ask an eye doctor for help. Just to make sure. It's the best thing to do.
See your eye doctor, you are probably allergic to those as well. I hate wearing glasses, but I had the same problem and ruined the vision in my left eye. Thankfully it healed.
Get the glasses with the invisible frames. :0) I love them!
