Foot cramps?
Question:
I don't get them very often-like once a month at the most, but it's always in the same exact same place
Answers:
Several suggestions: Eat more potassium-loaded foods (bananas, etc.) plus a calcium supplement. Then, after you experience the first twinge of a cramp, stop what you're doing and take shoe/sock off and pull up on your toes on the affected foot.do this gentle.don't "bounce it" and then do alternate soaks in cold and then hot water (no more than 15 minutes for either one). Then, once it's relaxed, put gentle pressure with your thumb on the area that is tender. Gradually push deeper on the area, but don't overdo. I'd lay off the activity that causes this to happen until the tenderness goes away, if I were you.
try adding potassium in your diet. you can do this by eating a banana.
