chest infection?

Question:
can you have a chest infection without having a bad cough? What other symptons do you have?

Answers:
Yes you can although its unlikely. With a chest infection, you will feel tired, short of breath and may cough up lots of dirty plegm. If you cough up blood then its potentially very serious. You may also have a temperature. Hope this helps....
First of all it's not a chest infection, it is called lung infection. It may be subdivided in bronchitis, pneumonia and so forth depending on the area were it is infected. And yes, some lung infection may exsist without any symptom at first. If you have a cough, it means that your defence mechanism is already compromised so you should see a doctor right away.
