should i continue to wear my contacts?

well my yearly eye exam is coming up but my contacts are way overdue to be changed, becuase every time i lost them i went into my one year supply and now the ones im wearing have been in use for about 6 months and my eyes get so irritated: red, watery, burning...im not sure if i could damage my eyes by wearing such overused contact lenses and if i can then i shouldnt wear them until i get new ones right?

Throw them out and when you go to get new ones order some glasses so this wont happen again

You can absolutely hurt your eyes doing that. STOP!! I did what you are describing, and ended up with these tiny bumps on the inside of my eyelids. I had to stop contact wear for a year, and even when the bumps cleared up, I was not able to wear contacts comfortably. In fact, the last time I wore them was at my wedding 12 years ago, and taking them out that night was even more satisfying than the wedding-night sex!
