Like an explosion in your head?
Question:
Answers:
I think I've had this. In my case it was just after I went to sleep and sometimes in that period between being asleep and awake. It feels like being shot in the back of the head! My friend who was epileptic at the time had the same thing happening. I found that I was having seizures, fits, in my sleep. In my case the seizures were caused by stress - for a while, I made sure I had a few drinks and calmed down before going to bed! I think you may be more relaxed when you go to sleep watching TV - and so don't have a siezure. The seizures can be very mild just a sort of bang inside your head or a full blown fit - and you wake up with your bed clothes scattered around your bedroom. The good news is I've only ever had one during the day time and that was because I was extremely stressed and in hospital. I had a brain scan and they don't appear to cause any damage. The bad news is, if you worry about them - they get worse! So don't worry and they will probably go away. I don't drink now and rarely have a seizure and if I do they are very mild. It appears they are more severe when they start. If you acept them and don't worry about it - you seem to go better. The other thing to remember or forget.... is they do effect your memory and you can have a seizure in your sleep and not know about it. You may just wake up feeling strange or a little unwell. Next day, you may have memory problems too. A long time ago, doctors discovered that people who have seizures, which are like electrical storms in the brain - have memory problems. They devised ECT - Electro-convulsive therapy as a result for depressed and anxious psychiatric patients. The theory was that after an induced seizure they wouldn't be able to remember what they were depressed about! So it may have a good effect! What was the question again? LOL

Never heard of that happening to anyone before. It must freak you out a bit. I would get a dream catcher to hang above your bed, could be psychological!!!!

Myabe your slamming your head to roughly against the furnature.
Sounds like a brain tumor.
prob the telly stops you from going into deep sleep and its not so quiet. if it bothers you leave the telly on. its more than likely your own bodys response from stopping for the day and resting, sometimes i suddenly jump and wake up.
Just a thought, not based on knowledge or science. Could you be experiencing a moment where the left (logic) side of the brain is closing down for sleep, leaving the right (creative) side of the brain still active classifying and organising thoughts and memories as it does when we're asleep? These thoughts are not the same as our awake thoughts and can sometimes shock us into consciousness as the our closing down left brain suddenly leaps back into action to question what we're thinking.
More spiritual people would say that it is the soul wandering out of the body and shocking you on return or making you panic as it leaves. I've no evidence to offer for this.
get it checked out A.S.A.P. unless u wanna die!!!!!!!!!
Do you live in Beirut? That may be what's causing it.
there might be water line aka water vein(anwayy my ded calls it that) under your bed, and this is bad thing accordin to Feng Shui, so this might cause problems, or maybe you have computer in your room, maybe you should open the window to let fresh air get in,
