Foot Fracture?

Question:
My basketball season just started, and today while we were scrimmaging, one of my varsity teammates jumped up in the air and landed her feet on my right foot. At the time, i didn't have any pain or ache in my right foot. Once I came home, I realized that every time I took a step the top of my right foot really really hurt. When I took a look at it I realized there was a bump about 3-4 inches apart from my big toe. So it's on the top of my foot, not the sole, and there's a bump on top of it. I'm thinking it's the bone, but i'm not really sure. I can walk, but every time i take it step it hurts. Can someone tell me if it's a bone fracture or something that'll go away by itself? Thank you.

Answers:
If it were me, I would ice it and wait until tomorrow. If it's still painful and turning interesting colors take a trip to the ER for an xray. If it is a fracture and you ignore it you might end up with issues and permanent pain.
The bones on the top of your feet are actually pretty vulnerable. If she landed like that, you should probably get x-rayed
yea, just put some ice on it. if its really swollen after a while, and looks like the worlds most colorful bag of skittles, you might wanna take yourself to the doc.
