how long does a pelvis fracture take to heal?

Question:

i met with an accident 6 months ago. had a clavical fracture, jaws fracture & a pelvis fracture...alot of lacerations..had to go thru a minor plastic surgery to insert titanium plates in my cheeck bone.....was in bed 4 three weeks.though i was forbidden to walk that time,i did..... because i dint wanna feel a patient & i dint lke the symapathy..has any1 else had pelvis fracture..could you pls report your experience to me?

Answers:
It takes 5 to 6 month.The period can be reduce by not taking pain killers as pain killers slowdown the process of healing
