How can you get a splinter out of your tongue?

Question:
I was in band today and I play the clarinet. I had my reed in my mouth, and it either gave me a splinter or it cut my tongue. My tongue is red and hurts on the side where i cut/got a splinter in it. How can you tell if it is a cut or a splinter? What should I do if it is a cut and if it is a splinter, how can I get it out?

Answers:
ouch!.
If its a cut, and not that big then it will heal itself. try not to eat anything on that side for a while.
If its a splinter, well i think using tweasers would be one way of doing it. But it might be hard for you doing it yourself, lookin in the mirror and looking at ur tongue at the same time. Get someone to help with it.
Ask someone to check if they can see a splinter or not. If u dont know, give it some time, the pain and redness should reduce. If it doesnt, then that means that something is in there. Then i guess u would have to see a doc, as it would not be visible to u.
Hmm that's tricky. If it's a splinter, you could take tweezers and try to get it out, or you can keep rinsing your mouth.
Just take some disolvable pain killers to take down the inflamation and maybe use something to numb your tongue, if it's a cut it will heal really quickly, if it's a splinter just leave it as your body will reject it and push it out on it's own. The tongue heals faster than any other part on your body so dont be stressed, you will be fine hun.
no really tell us how you really got a splinter in your tounge
