I sprinkled Boric Acid to kill roaches. How long should it be effective?
Question:
Answers:
Boric Acid is an EXCELLENT roach control agent. As long as it is dry and in powder form, and has NOT absorbed anything that will give it an odor it is effective.
It does not have an odor and roaches do not avoid it, they don't recognized it as poisionous. When they go back to their hidding place they clean themselves by passing their body parts through their mouths and voila! kill themselves....It is safe to use around children and pets because the LD50 (lethal dose to kill 50% of the exposed population is more than 1400mg / kg of body weight)
Boric acid can be purchased in powder form at most pharmacies and grocery stores. This really helped me when I lived in South Texas!!!!
There are other ways to kill them but they adapt to most insecticides and learn to avoid the places you apply them!

Eat 'em. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
Basically it works until you sweep it up. You might add a pinch of corn meal to the boric acid to attract them. Of the commercial products I've used, Combat roach traps work best, but boric acid is best of all.
If it's still there and is still white, it's good. Otherwise, reapply.
It will remain effective as long as it remains there and stays dry.
Boric acid is the best non-toxic way...sure, there are poison sprays out there that'll do the job, but natural is best, especially with kids or pest around...or anyone sensitive to the chemicals in the poison sprays, like people with asthma.

Those roaches love boric acids, you need to go to a pest control shop and by this gel, called max force fc. it will kill those roaches in 2 days. just follow the directions and your little problem will be over with. It cost about 60 or 70 bucks, for 3 little tubes, but it's well worth it.
Boric acid is the ONLY surefire way to get rid of roaches and keep rid of them (I don't know why this is not common knowledge). But you have to do more than sprinkle it. First make a solution in boiling water. Pour the hot solution
everywhere you have seen the pests - the liquid will soak into the cracks where they walk and cover everything in crystal when it dries. Then, thereafter, sprinkle some more dry powder around.
Assessment of the degree and the severity and the concurrently occurring condition or conditions should be done by your physician.and so you will find the answer of your question with him.............................. sherif lanson khalil of Egypt
Man where do I score me some boric acid? I have the same problem, and have tried everything.
