Use "goo gone" - an adhesive remover that comes in a small spray bottle. You can buy it for around $3 at Wal-Mart, Target, Home Depot or any of those kinds of places.
Try some solvent like acetone (nail polish remover) or liquid lanolin grease remover like Goop, and then soap and water
soak the area in warm water. then get a loofah and scrub the area along with a good mild soap to prevent a lot of irritation.
