it depends on you and what you enjoy! the goal of cardiovascular exercise is to get your heart rate elevated. there are a number of things that you can do in order to accomplish this. you could try: fast walking, jogging, cycling, aerobic classes, martial arts, swimming, dancing ect. just make sure you have fun doing it whatever it is or else you won't stick with it long enough to enjoy the benefits.

It's entirely up to you, each major form of exercise has its pros and cons.
For instance:
Running is obviously a great form of cardio but a.) it doesn't work your arms much and b.) it can sometimes cause knee problems from the continuous pounding against the ground. Make sure you use good/padded footwear and try not to run on concrete.
Swimming is another good one that works the entire body but IMO it's not a great idea to always be swimming in chlorine.

It also depends on what your particular goals are...
