disability for nerve damage in back?
Question:
Answers:
You should be able to and if not you should claim compensation from the accidents which you were in.
In the UK there is a three year time limit to make personal injury claims so speak to a Solicitor.
I would also strongly suggest that you DO NOT HAVE ANY MORE STERIOD INJECTIONS!
When I had a problem with my back (a joint had come out of place) they injected me with that stuff and I now have a fatty growth on my back from it which cannot be taken away as it has joined itself onto various nerves and blood vessels.
Other Answers:
yeah you can but it depends on the dr who writes up the report-if he thinks you cant work anymore-depends what kind of job you do and can they provide you w/ a "lighter" job
Only if it was work related. Good luck getting Social Security to help. If it was work related get a lawyer.
yes
That depends on the extent of nervous damage in ur back and whether u r severely impaired by it and unable to work
The question is: does the nerve damage prevent you from doing anything that you used to do prior to the accidents? If it does, then it is possible that whoever is responsible for your nerves being damaged should bear the cost of your damage.
If you are thinking in terms of state disability, you have to be so bad off that you can't do your regular job, or a modified job. If you are thinking in terms of Social Security Disability, you have to prove (and it is hard) that you are unemployable.
If you are working now, and have been, just look for jobs that work for you in the future. I have had a bad back since age 9, and have a sit-down job. That and my exercises have minimized the problems I have with my back.
Think in terms of what you can do now, and in the future, and maybe not on who can pay you for what you can't do. It is much more productive.
You DO NOT need to be disabled from work for disability.First you need to be prepared for a long haul.b/c it can take several years to get disability. You need to see a pain specialist on a regular basis, and he needs to document, document, document. It takes alot of documentation for the disability board/judge to make a decision for disability.Usually the first time you apply you get turned down, get a lawyer that only gets paid if you win.It took me 2 1/2 years to get an approval, and i have yet to see a check.
