Does anyone else feel too tired to out on a friday night after a week of work?
Question:
is it normal?
is it a sign of ageing or what?
Answers:
i feel the same, i just want to veg out and do nothing. The beauty of takeaways, DVDs and hot baths bliss.
I'm 23 is this normal?
Can't wait.
it's a sign from the future that you are lazy
Its just a sign of a hardworking person.
I am always too tired to go out, but once i am out i get loads of energy. If you stay in your not getting exercise.try going out and you will see once you have a few drinks down you, you will be fine...
Means ya working too hard - often get the feeling!
Only soloution is to work less, sleep more.....Or turn to chemical help!
normal unless you have a low blood any time you work 10 to 12 hour a day yes it is normal. your body need rest.
Its a sign that you need more sleep, your body isnt coping on the amount of sleep you get. I get the same thing sometimes, and more-so in the winter too!
If you are a busy person during the week like myself, then its perfectly normal to feel tired when you get home on Friday. Thats because your brain is telling you that you are done work and its time to relax. I have plans tonight to go out even though I would rather sit at home relax. I just have to push myself.
I'm always too tired to go out drinking on a Fri night.
That's why I started to stay home & smoke "ahem".....
Now I prefer smoke to drink, as I can enjoy the rest of the weekend without hangover too.
Nah - after a few drinks it's fine. And it's better to have the whole weekend to recover.
I do, to tired after a hard week
Its definately not aging. Im 21 and Im burnt out by friday but I work a full-time job and a part-time job.
When I started feeling too tired to go out, and preferring to have cosy-up nights with my other half, then I decided to say goodbye to the frequent night's out, and have children! I now go out once every few month's, and it's far more enjoyable than doing the same old thing week in, week out!
Yep, as I get older I find that the last thing I want to do after a long week at work is go out! Usually Friday nights are either "date" night with the BF, maybe dinner and a movie or we'll stay in and have a few friends over for cards or whatever. I try and plan going "out" for Saturdays when I've had a chance to catch up on some sleep!
I do but if you force yourself to get dressed up once you've got home, then go out and have a couple drinks with friends, you soom perk up! Well I do anyway!
Failing that you can drink loads of red bull!
You finally realised that you are getting old just like the rest of us.
Always! Until i have managed to drag myself out and have sank a couple of pints, then i seem to cheer up loads!
have a nice weekend,
I know exactly what you mean and it's not a sign of being lazy. I commute up and down to London which takes four hours of my day up, the rest of the day is taken up working!
As soon as you get out the door on a Friday afternoon/evening, your body shuts down straight away because it knows it can!
It is normal. I think some people like me let it get to them more than others. I have mates who work the same hours as me but Friday night after an hour or so are re-energised and ready for a night out, whereas, I'd rather sit in front of the telly with a bottle of red!
It is completely normal, and I will tell you why. Today, many employers keep budgets lower by having fewer people on staff. Workers are required to do more with less. Add to that the average American doesn't take all their vacation days, many work more than forty hours a week, and many come to work sick, and we're asking for exhaustion. These days most of us don't get enough sleep, eat decently, or stop to rest. We work from home, we then turn around and put hours of work into our homes, and then still have to other stuff done.
Being a grown up sucks. I want my money and my childhood back.
sign of working all week ,now go out on a Saturday night , Friday night ,few cannies good dvd.
im a 19 yr old student and i feel too tired after a week of constant lectures and coursework to go out and party like the stereotypical uni go-er.
its not a sign of ageing its a sign ur working hard, be proud of yourself.
You are not the only one who is tired. The world's work force feel the same. Friday night and you are raring to go, then all of you are nodding on your pasta plate at dinner LOL.
Only the one with the extra hormonal kick of the truly young can manage to remain alert and on the look out.
There is always Saturday night !
You work too hard like myself! I stay in every friday and look forward to it. I get lots of treats in and we have a bottle of wine or two! Saturday is a better night to go out anyway.
yes, every week! i want to go home and crash, but sometimes i just force myself to go out. i end up having fun, but i sleep really late the next day. it probably happens to a lot of people, especially if they have stressful jobs.
