Buy a spray called Dermoplast at your local pharmacy. It has antibiotics so it won't get infected and pain reliever as well. Best thing you can use if you don't want to go to a doctor. Don't put Neosporin. It's only for small cuts. run under room temp water (cold will make it hurt more when you pull it out of the water) your skinis continueing to burn at a very slow rate like a coal. you need to leave it in the room temp water for about 30 min.. sounds long but it works,

dip it in a cold mud and watch a x-rated movie to divert youre minds attention, its all in the mind dudes.

If you haven't done so already, hold the burned area under cool running water for around 10 minutes. You can also use a clean towel or wash cloth moistened with cold water. Do not break open the blisters, or there will be a greater risk of infection. If the blisters are open, don’t remove any clothing that might be stuck to the burn, and don’t run water over the burn. Place a dry, sterile gauze pad over the burn, but do not use any bandages with adhesive.

I am a nurse for over 21 years If you have a 2ND degree burn you might want to seek medical attention because it may be more serious than you think.

ice or put your hand in ice water

If you don't have any open blisters, cover with vaseline to prevent air from reaching the burn; you'll be amazed!

if you really have a 2nd degree burn, go to the hospital now! you need medical attention, the pain and infection cannot be cured with the items provided by a pharmacy. its very important to revceive a well working pain med, due to nerve exposal (such as fentanyle [synthetic morphine]), professionally cleaning the wound to prevent infections, and the only one who can prevent you from developing severe scar tissue is a doctor!

good luck
