Using dry ice for warts?
Question:
Answers:
When a doctor freezes a wart, he can control how he does it well enough to minimize freezing tissue other than the wart. If you try to use dry ice, it will be difficult not to damage the surrounding tissue and perhaps your hands. You also will have to thoroughly freeze the wart. Since dry ice is not easy to control, you have no experience in this procedure and you do not know how long to use or how much pressure to use, it is NOT advisable for you to freeze off your own wart(s) with dry ice.
This procedure, when done by the doctor, only causes minimal discomfort and is safe. If you insist on trying dry ice, talk to your doctor as to its advisability and the possible problems you may experience. If your doctor removes the wart, your wart will be gone and you will only be left with the bill!
