how can I ask my boss 4 a raise w/o sounding like I'm askinf 4 one. i do mor stuff than i was hired 4.?

Question:
I do stuff thatis not in my job description.

Answers:
You should be direct with your employer. You need to 'lighten up' and relax. You will get an opportunity to speak to him/her this week, hopefully, when you won't be pressured. In a friendly voice ask your boss when the company you work for will be giving performance evaluations. If your company does not give evaluations, tell your boss you would like to make an appointment with him/her to discuss a raise. Do not beat around the bush ; that makes people irritated. Instead of speaking to him/her, you could write a letter of request for a raise and include a summary of your work and accomplishments/achievements.
Some people communicate better in writing and some people are better oral communicators. Choose your strength when you ask.
Honesty and attitude go a long way. So, smile, smile, smile and ask for what you want. Good luck !

are you indispensible? if yes then just ask him outright. if you are not , i suggest you keep working unless you have an alternative job if he fires you or if you want to resign if he doesn't give you a raise after you ask him for it.
There's no way to ask without sounding like you're asking.
If you try that you'll make yourself look and sound stupid.
Just ask him if you need a raise but before you do you should
remember a lot of jobs entail duties that aren't in the job description. You might have to find a reason that's a little more
convincing.
