Can you tell me if you've had this experience and/or what I should be thinking about it?

does anyone know? only serious answers please?

Answers:
It could be a lot of things..1.) Your bed may be playing a big factor in it. That is the number one cause of back pain 2.) get some insoles for your shoes. if your posture is off it can ruin everything - it will put off your knees then your hips then your back muscles are strained and your entire body will end up hurting. 3.) Your stomach muscles play a large role in holding you and you back up. If your core is too weak you back will take the brunt of the work 4.) You could have nerve damage or even a disc problem that may require medical intervention. ie degenerative disc disease. that will do it. Your best bet would be to talk to your doc but look into the above and their symptoms. it is always important to be knowledgeable about your problem before you got to the doc. Take care of yourself!

Sleeping, how much is needed?

Age? Weight? Past injuries? Various things can cause this problem and it is a problem. You should see a doctor to see if you are having disc problems, etc. Back problems can be caused by so many sources and do not just disappear. If you are having discomfort or pain within such a short time you definitely have something going on and need to find out which rehab or strengthening you need to do to help. This did not happen overnight and will not be relieved overnight. If you find typical exercise difficult you might want to consider water therapy or water classes. If you can find a warm water therapy pool you will feel some relief even if just walking in the water. You need to stabilize and strengthen you core muscles. Good luck and feel better soon.

You need to talk to your doctor. No one here can diagnos you because we are not doctors and even if we were we aren't seeing you. Your doctor can hopefully figure out what is causing this pain. It could be arthritis or pulled muscles in your back. You need to get checked up. In the mean time look at these websites:
