What is the best way to treat a really bad sun burn?

take a cool bath if you have baking soda put it in the water and get in and lay in the tub and it gets the heat out of the body for the sun burn and then take if you can get noxezena and some baby lotion put it on. every time you feel the heat from the sun burn get back in the tub with the baking soda and stay out of the sun for at least a week until you heal. this works for me.

Speaking from experience, there are a few things you can try, Noxema, Vinegar, Aloe Vera these are just a few things I have used try one it might work for you.
Aoe vera, Solar Cane, a cold pack wrapped in a towel and a cotton tee shirt (very soft And doesnt rub the burn) vinegar
aloe, lavendar essential oil, tylenol, drink lots of water, lotions, aloe with lydocain, tea bath (don't laugh it works =-).
Aloe vera, and wear sunblock next time.
but aloe on it. also i heard that vinigar reduces the pealing.
