I sneezed and muscles in my lower back went in to spasm. What causes this?
Question:
Answers:
When you sneeze, your spine puts extra pressure on your disks. That can cause your nerves to react which will cause your muscles to tighten in order to protect your spine. You may have a slightly out of whack disk.
Weak back and stomach muscles may have caused this. Are you out of shape... another contributing factor. I know some one who sneezed hard and was out of shape who ended up i the hospital for straining the muscles in between his ribs.
