Gas Pain where?

Question:

Can you have gas pain in ur abdemon and right side? Can the pain be so bad that you can in a way feel it in your back? Cacn you also have the sharp pain that it hurts to take a deep breath?

The other night I went to applebees for dinner, went to bed and woke up with sharp pains in my stomach and right side. I kinda felt it in my back too and then I went to take a deep breath it kinda hurt like in my chest right under my boobs. I let a little gas out and it seemed to go away after that. A few hours later I woke up with the shits.

Was this just gas?

Sounds like maybe indigestion or heart burn, try tums next time, and passing gas doesn't hurt either.

It may be gas, then again, it may not be. I would suggest that you contact your local ER now. Not trying to scare you, but there have been lots of people who thought they were having "gas pain" ended up having heart attacks. Better to pay a little now for confirmation of your problem than a lot later if all is not well.
