Have you ever been in a senses deprivation tank & how did it feel?

Question:
I think this is the proper name for the tank filled with salt water...that blocks out all sound, light, etc. I've often wondered about them...just never spoke to anyone who had experienced this.
Wasn't sure where to post this one...if it's in the wrong place..oops.

Answers:
Yes I have. It was for about 3 hours. It was wonderful.
At first it is like laying in a pool, then it gets more like that state in between awake and asleep; though, not sleepy. You lose sense of your body slowly and then it seems to do impossible feats--like twisting into a figure eight. It isn't happening--it just feels that way.
Then the visual stuff happens. The first thing that happened to me was white bolts of light--my eyes were open. Then it turned much more dreamlike. The best part is After the session. The world seems like a brand new place to be experienced! I highly recommend trying it out.
