do removed moles grow back? what are the chances?

Question:
i have one on my chest and im extrmely self conscious about it. are the chances of it growing back or leaving a scar worth removing it? how do i convince my mom? she thinks it'll grow back since im too young.im fifteen by the way.

Answers:
When I was 14 years old my mom took me to a dermatologist and had a mole removed from under my arm. She thought it might be cancerous. So the dermatologist removed it somehow by "freezing" it off. They sent it to the lab and had test done. Came back fine. I am now 25 years old and the mole has not grown back. It did take a little while to heal but eventually there was not a scar or anything left from it.

Other Answers:
I have had 2 removed and they have never came back.
I had one on my neck that I ripped off manually when I was 11, and it never came back. No scarring either. At 17, I developed a horrendous cherry angioma on the left side of my forehead, and I had that removed with an electric wart remover (done at home), and that left no scarring and wasn't painful.
