Can physiotherapy help with fibromylagia/ME?

Question:
Had physiotherapy today i feel 100 times worse. My back and neck are really sore so i am wondering is it worth going back

Answers:
Are you able to attend and Pain Management Clinic?

I attended pain management clinic, which was fantastic. The program was adapted/tailored to me, after a extensive examination of my over all health. This was done with a Physio, Occupational therapist, Well being nurse, Phycologist and a Doctor who specialised in pain, all working together.

Physiotherapy should be graded, and set out by a physio who has sound knowledge of Fibromyalgia.
You should be started on low levels of exercise, and as you levels of fitness etc increase, you may find your levels of pain reduce. I still have a lot of pain, but I am able to do more than I used too, after following the physios plan. I had a exercise program set out for me, using the exercise ball, which was not to physically demanding.

The biggest thing I learnt was that if my pain was not good, I was not to do any exercise, on that day, to try to conserve my energy levels.
PT may help with fibromyalgia, there are no guarantees, going back a few times may be helpful, good luck
