Question:
Answers:
Refuse to sleep with him, makee him sleep on the sofa with a plastic sheet on it and the best thing to do is make sure you tell all his mates what he does.
Other Answers:
I think you should SERIOUSLY reconsider this relationship. If someone drinks SOOO much that he loses control of his bodily functions, he most likely has a drinking problem. You may want to rethink if you want that in your life!!
Kick him out of the bed and make him sleep in the bath.
Leave him, he'd keep wetting the bed, but you wouldn't have to sleep in it anymore.
Are you sure you want to be with this guy?
He has a serious problem if he is that drunk and wetting the bed. Get rid of him, unless you want to deal with this for the rest of your life.
He needs counselling, he must be in denial. he neads also to take a long look at his life. if he's not prepared to give it a go. think about all the clean bedding you'll have!
You can't stop him, that's the problem. (he's a grown man and has to make his own decisions) If he won't stop binge drinking and go to AA, you may want to consider breaking it off with him and finding someone who's more stable. If you need some emotional support, check out Al Anon, they are excellent.
Advise him to see a doctor as soon as. because it's clear the direction he is heading in
Buy a water bed then you won't notice.
That is truly disgusting. Are you sleeping in the bed with him when he is wetting it? I don't know how you stay attracted to him.
Rather than trying to figure out how to control his problem for him, I would consider spending some time thinking of how to get rid of him.
Have you tried rubbing his nose in it like you would with a puppy? Does he clean it up? Personally I, and most people, would not be so desperate for a boyfriend that I'd put up with a damp, urine stained mattress. If pointing this out to him has no effect, chuck him, it's just horrible to expect you to put up with this.
You can't, dear.
Only he can do that himself.Just tell him how much it bothers you and buy a big rubber sheet to protect your mattress!
Dump him.
He`s an asshole
i'm so sorry about that. i'm sure u've tried all u can and it didn't work, how about talking to God in prayers and asking him to change your boyfriend for u? 'He is the author and finisher of our faith'
kick him to the kerb-or invest in the biggest nappies you can find!!
seriously though.if he doesnt see this as a problem then he has got a big problem and if you allow him to carry on then you have got a problem too!! the drink is as much a problem as the bed-wetting and i know its hard when you love someone but he has to address this for your sake as well as his own.
good luck hon.
i dont think i would want to sleep in that bed...leave him, he is 34 or 4
Tell all of his friends at every opportunity you can. They may laugh initially but they will seriously not think it's funny. Tell them also he does not wash and if they can smell something funny it is yesterday's urine. Tell the people he works with. If he complains tell him he is evidently very happy with it so therefore does not see anything wrong with it. So what's the problem with telling people - surely if he was ashamed he would do something about it.
wire your bed up to the mains electric
Dump him i would.
Cut him the Whiskey off!!
Oh yah! give the man what he wants!! A wet "golden shower"!!
then play it off like oh well. lol!!
Stop enabling him and get the hell out before you do something really stupid like have kids or get married.
you sleep in another bed and let him sleep with an electric blanket on.results should be fun
i like stardusts answer! id kick his @ss! he must get in a bad state if hes wetting the bed. bout time he grew up! get a big towel and put a nappy on him when hes asleep, dont forget to take a pic! id send him back to his mummy myself. id tell her why too.
If he's not prepared to cut down on what he's drinking then tell him you refuse to share a bed with him until he gets a grip and deals with it. Make him up a spare bed with a plastic sheet to save the mattress - then let him sleep in his own urine if that's what he wants to do, and don't do the washing for him either!
When he goes out and you know that's the state he's likely to be coming home in, lock your bedroom door or else he will no doubt just climb into bed with you anyway.
Good luck, this must be awful.
he may be experiencing bladder problems in that case it is important that if you want him to stop wetting the bed stop him from get a drink an hour before you go to bed and make sure that he keeps this up so his body will adjust to it
If this doesn't work than you can try awaking him at a certain time and have him use the bathroom but again make sure your time is steady you don't want to confuse the body and to make certain that this works make him use it before he goes to sleep
hope this helps
That's a tough one, it happened to me only once, it's awful but in fairness your boyfriend must be in a cruel condition all together in order for him to be wetting the bed. He doesn't need to stop drinking all together just cut back so he's not completely intoxicated and this should help a bit otherwise you might try getting him those Pampers training pants and a plastic sheet for the mattress in the spare room!!
