Tennis elbow (HELP!!!)?


Question:
It has been 3 months now. I went through
firstly Cortisone inject - does not help
2nd Ultrasound and manual therapy
3rd Electric therapy

+ wearing arm brace.

It does not help, the pain still there!!!!!!!! ANY remedies other than going to Orthopaedic? Anyhow, I will got to Orthopaedic which I know what they will recommend...acupunture.

My lifestyle during this 3 months
- no sport that that uses the right arm (tennis arm)
- working with arm brace (keybord typing -very intensive, because I am software engineer)

sit in a chair, place the sore arm on a flat desk in front of you with your forearm parallel to your shoulders and your fingers straight and relaxed .... bend your good arm (your hand should be relaxed and somewhere in front of your face) and place your elbow on the meaty spot of the bad forearm appx the legnth of your own thumb in front of the elbow crease.

Slowly press your elbow into this spot. It will HURT. If it doesn't hurt, you aren't in the right spot. Press and hold this spot for about a minute or two (literally) until the pain starts to dissipate. Then SLOWLY shift the elbow to the next spot that makes your eyebrows go whoosh! upwards in pain (usually only move about 1/8 of an inch) and hold that spot for a minute or two. Then repeat, and repeat, and repeat. Should take about 5 to 10 minutes on this section.

Follow this self imposed torture with gentle, but deep massage... use some oil (olive oil works just fine and is very beneficial to the skin) and do deep, gliding strokes with your thumb from wrist to elbow all the way around the bad arm. Should take about 10 minutes on this one. Then (very important) ice the forearm area for 10 to 15 minutes.

A full tennis elbow treatment of one arm can easily take 30 minutes or more. Do not rush, do not press so hard you bruise yourself. A good rulle of thumb for the pressure is a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10. It hurts, but you can still breathe, and you can resist the urge to tighten the area. At a pressure of 8, you have to remind yourself to breathe. If you must tense up something, tighten you toes. It won't affect the massage work.

Forty broken bones and yes, Tennis elbow too!
For home remedy, listen carefully.
Get some good protein powder or stock up on white meats and tuna, cause for the next month you are gona cut out ALL RED MEAT.
Next: NO sugar AT ALL! No chocolates or honey or goodies, keep bananas around for the sweet tooth.
Get some Epsom salt and do a good salt bath every other day.
This has a therapeutic (long term) healing effect, not just temporary.
Good hard core stretching every day creates more blood transfer and this activity done often enough will get your bone marrow to kick out more transferring and molecular growth at the bone levels.
As much exorcise as you can stand, not hard core dead weights though.
Most IMPORTANT thing that FIXES me more than any other is: Salads! Make friend with veggies and obsess on them!
I KNOW this all sounds corn ball and boring and like it takes a long time for results... not true! Red meat and sugar being removed from your diet will bring you relief in a day!
The rest will internally bring you over all relief in a week and moving the limb is WAY important. Keep wearing your brace.
I have one in my truck and occasionally the elbow acts up and a day of the brace-band takes care of it!
