Question:
Usually when I'm on feet I get this really strong pain behind my knee on the back of my leg and it's like a muscle spasum and it doesn't stop..when I put weight on my foot it hurts even more and if I keep walking on it, it tightens up soo bad I can't even walk. What is going on?

Answers:
Sounds like you could have sciatica; although a pinched nerve which isn't related to the sciatic nerve isn't out of the question. You could have some foot issues, although from what you have said, it is unclear if that is really the cause. Do yourself a favor and go and see a doctor to get clarification.
sounds like you should go to a doctor
How much do you weigh ?
Do you drink alchohal? That can cause muscle spasms. Do you eat a lot of red meat? that can also.
I'm not a doctor but I'm sure you have a problem. My recipe from a distance would be for you to drink tea of camomille three times a day and have a short walk of 15-20 min every day. Do it for 10 days. Call then.
I get those usually I need multivitamin B and Potassium. They hurt bad, I've woke up in the middle of the night with them. Literally a rude awakening.
I get the same thing sometimes. You need better support in your shoes. Have you tried shoe pad inserts? Arch support? I think this has helped me alot, plus i now have arthritus in my knees. If you don't take care of your feet and stand all day then it will effect how the rest of your body feels... especially your back and hips. You might want to try some stretching activites, but that might now work for you, i don't know. You could ask a doctor also, sometimes if you call the hospital and ask for the nurses line then they will answer questions for you and save you a Doctor trip.
Depending on where the pain is exactly it could be muscle related or and Tendon problem or you ACL?
I get that sometimes too although not that badly. Think that its that thick tenden that runs down your legs its this thing you feel when you put your hand under your knee and tighten your knee. You should definitly see a doctor before it gets any worse. Try to take it easy until you can see your doctor.
get to a doctor quick
I also think you sciatica as these sound like the symptoms that I have.
A doctor sounds like a good idea to me too. This is way beyond what I would suggest using potassium or B complex vitamins to treat.
it's a tendon problem. stretch it out everyday 2-3 times or as much as possibe.while stretching, find it & massage it all the way down. keep up on your water intake and multi vitamins. learn your body and you'll have it kicked in no time.
You could have a torn cartilage or just plain arthritis. It is not sciatica. See you M.D. If you have not had the pain long it may resolve with strengthening the quads and improving stability of the joint. If it has been there long time you may need an xray to establish the diagnosis
my husband had similar symptoms from bursitis of the knee and the sac of fluid burst and entered the muscle area, if i remember the story correctly. he thought at first it was a DVT and was tested. try WebMD for the correct diagnosis and treatment. his was a ruptured Baker's cyst. hope this helps some or at least gives you a direction
