Any time there is a pain as bad as that, it is essential to have it seen by a doctor right away. if you can not get him up to a car, call an ambulance, but get him to the emergency room right away. Waiting can kill him.

i know of 2 things ether a kidney infection alot of cranberry juice can help
or diverticulitus which only affects the left side and can have slight blood spotting in the stool which is a worst case with IBS )irritable bowel syndrom( in that case a fiber suplement can help
and also a heating pad in eather case can help

yes, it still could be appendicitis...plus a variety of other causes. Obviously the pain is substantial so he needs to see a doc. Take him to the ER tonight.
