My 6 yr old wets her pants everytime she laughs for long periods of time is this normal??

Question:

When my daughter is having a good time and gets over excited she wets her pants even if she just went to the restroom. I at first thought it was just an over excited thing but it has been happening more and more lately. I am worried she might have something wrong and her doctor is taking a while to get back to me to make an appointment.

i think it is a week bladder, if it takes to long for your doc to get back to you about it find another doctor.

Hmm. That could be a problem. My daughter had a kidney infection at 16 months. She was admitted to the hospital and found to have a vesico-ureteral reflux. This means the valve in one of her ureters (tube that leads from the bladder to the urethra) was not functioning correctly, and urine was backing back up into the bladder.Normally the valve keeps the urine from backing up. Luckily she outgrew it.
Does your daughter ever have urinary tract infections?
The doctor may suggest a pyelogram, which is an x-ray of the bladder functioning.

See the pediatrician, he needs to check a few things
