I fell on a faulty stair at my apartment. after several misdiagnosis I am told I need neurosurgery.?
Question:
Answers:
I tend to agree with the answer above mine. First you need to get a copy of the consult report (it will have your diagnosis in writing) from a Neurosurgeon, a copy of your MRI films with the written report, and a copy of the recommendations of the Neuro doc. Pay for the Neuro doc somehow, some way. Get photos of the stairs as they are now, standing from both above and below and any relevant statements from other tenants who may have had trouble also. If what you stated about the stairs is true then your next stop wll be at an attorney's office, one who handles personal injury. And it's true that while you may have to pay a retainer (maybe), the rest of the fee will be taken out of the settlement. And, small compensation though it is, the stairs will be repaired too.

you need to get the opinion of a dr and then also CONSULT an attorney, their some attorneys that will wait til your case is won to collect or charge you any fees
First and foremost deal with your health issue. The lawsuit can wait for a bit. You can go to a county hospital and they can help you financially figure out what you can do. There are discounted programs, financial assistance, Payments etc., Good Luck!
