My pastor had his gallbladder removed.during the surgery the doctor nipped his bowel, is this life threating?

Question:

Answers:
Not likely. People with burst appendixes survive. My friend had an appendectomy and just when they got to his appendix, it ruptured. He was fine. They cleaned up the surgical wound and gave him lots of antibiotics.

Other Answers:
did you ask your pastor what the doctor told him about his situation
Yes because if you nip any part of the intestine or stomach and fluids leak out you can get septic shock from the bowel emptying into the abdominal cavity.

I hope they stitched him up after the accidental nip.
Not really if the surgeon was aware of it and sewed it up.
I once heard a colleague of mine say "Removing the gallbladder is like throwing out the garbage pail when your kitchen is a mess." Adage: It's time to clean up the kitchen / "diet".
