I cut 2 of my fingers off with a chainsaw while I was doing home repair.?

Question: I do not have health insurance. I saw on Discovery Health that you could use leeches and a sewing kit to put them back on. I have the bleeding under control. I have a sewing kit in the attic. Where is a good place to catch leeches. Should I look under rocks and in the basement?

Answers:
Go to the ER immediately. Worry about your fingers first. You could get the area infected. Worry about how to pay later. Don't even try to sew/leech your fingers back on. It's not safe.

You need to go to the ER immediately for treatment- there is no at-home method to treat this and this can greatly lead to infection, which can cause even more problems. Most hospitals/clinics these days are willing to work out some type of payment plan.
