Ear pressure problem.?

Question:
A couple days ago my ear popped as I was walking around similar to when you're going down a hill in a car. I tried to plug my nose and hold my breathe tight to see if it would pop it again but it made it worse. I ended up with no feeling in my left ear and no hearing. I don't have any pain. I got motion sickness from it making me dizzy. This is the second day since that has happened and I have slight feeling back in it but still no hearing. I was wanting to know if anyone else has had a similar problem and how long it took for it to clear up and if there is anything I could try to do to get the pressure balanced again?

Answers:
You have fluid behind the eardrum. I could become infected if it sits there for a while. Go to your health care provider to get either a prophylactic antibiotic and/or a steroid shot to try to decrease the swelling and bring the fluid out. Also, Nasonex might work well for you to open up your eustacian tubes. Good luck.
honestly.....call a doctor or even pharmasist and ask one of them...i work at a pharmacy and i feel that pharmasist knows just as much as doctors if not more.
