I have had a headache for a month now..?

Question:
I generally don't get headaches at all, but for about a month, I have had a constant, dull achey headache in the back of my head, and in the upper portion of my neck (in the back). Is this just a tension headache, or could it be serious? The pain is not intense, just annoying. I am also wondering if this could be related to putting a goose feather bed over my mattress? I am used to a more firm mattress.

Answers:
Sounds like a tension headache but it should not last that long or it could be the different way you sleep on your goose feather bed. A trip to your doctor is best to be safe.

Other Answers:
I think you may have a condition called migraine. If you suspect this too, consult a doctor please. Do it for yourself! Take care.
visit the octor, try sum pain relievers or sumthing. good luck!
definitely. try switching back to what you are used to sleeping on. It's always good to see a family physician. They could do an x-ray or MRI or something to see if it's anything more serious.
go to the doctor
you should definitely call your doctor, it is not normal for one to have constant pain in their head, severe or not!! it is possible to cause neck or back pain when switching pillows or mattresses, but probably not for a full month!! call your doctor!!
It sounds more like a tension headache, and this also could be caused by too soft of a mattress. Buy a foam fitting pillow and see if it will help. this is one that curves and provides support to your neck. If it does not get better soon, you need to see your physician!
