Can you "home" treat a hairline non-displaced fracture of the radius at the wrist?

Question:
I have it in a splint, homemade with an ace bandage covering it. Would a store brought wrist brace be ok? It hurt but not too bad, and there is no swelling or deformity at all...

Answers:
Sure. But if you line it up wrong, it could grow back making your life difficult. For instance, if you line it up pinching a nerve, you could spend the rest of your life dropping your fork.

Well, your call.

Other Answers:
My question is how did you "home" diagnose yourself?
Uh, you need to get that checked out. If you don't there might be some serious problems down the line. BTW, how do you now it's a hairline non-displaced fracture anyways?

Maybe this is why the judge won't let your kids live with you.
NO GO TO THE DR.
You are the biggest fool on the planet. Go to a doctor Jackass!!!
Yea if it dosen't hurt like hell oveer time.
