right now i feel like i have something stuck in my espohagus. and it feels like i wanna throw up but i dont need to. so does that mean i have acid indigestion or heartburn or what? its been bugging me since i woke up. so what do i have plz help so then i can take some rolaids

If you feel like a lump is in your throat, it could be you are getting sick, it could be a sore throat, it could be a reaction to something, but it doesn't sound like heartburn. If it doesn't go away, or gets worse, go to your doctor.

Heartburn is more up towards your throat, Acid indegestion is in your belly and could also go to your throat. Try eating a Tums or Rolaids. No fatty fods or caffiene it makes it worse. the feeling is like a burning sensation from your throat down to your belly.This doesn't sound like heartburn.it is a literal burning feeling, like acidy or something. You don't sound like you have acid reflux or anything like heartburn. Rolaids won't hurt you though, if you want to take a couple. But I would Drink a big glass of milk and eat a few crackers, maybe there is something small stuck in your esophagus. See a doctor if it doesnt get better. I am sure you are fine.good luck!

heartburn is when you feel like there is acid stuck in your throat. you get it from spicy foods. it sucks! like when i have heartburn, i just try to keep drinking water and that works for a few minutes and then its back.if it feels like theres something in your esophagus, you probably just need to burp. lol
