When we are hurt the adrenalin and endorphins kick in and sometimes we feel like we are super human. The worst type of pain seems to a persistent throbbing pain that really drains your strength like severe tooth ache or back pain.

pain is the body's way of signaling something is wrong most sever pain comes from the sight of trauma again a warning sign.every one has a different threshold that they can tolerate, such as tooth or ear ache can be the worse, physical pain. as also physiological pain attributes its own set of rules.extremity's have more blood flow and throb. drives you crazy.

Oh yes, pain does stop you from functioning. When they're really in pain they get all light-headed, they can't stand up. I've known people to pass out and go unconscious. Sometimes they don't even remember what happened. You don't have to be hit in the head. You could be crushed by a car, or just have a severely broken arm, almost anything. Ask anyone who's been in a good car accident.
Of course it does: if it sever enough!! Cut your balls off..then see how functional you are: Good luck!!!!
