Go see your doctor for an MRI.
sounds like a sciatica problem.
you could have a pinched nerve that comes and goes. i have the same problem and find some days i can't get comfortable in any position
If you are sexually active, you may pregnant. Lower back pain is fairly common amongst pregnant woman b/c of the growing fetus....but if does not apply to you, then go see a doctor ASAP a it may be a sign of more serious medical problems.
If you are a heavier person , that could be a large part of it. If not can you think of something you did that may have caused this? Have you been in a car accident ever? It could be from lack of stretching and strengthening? If you've ever been in an accident or if you can think of anytime you may have injured it , seek medical advise.
Go to your doctor, now Or an Ortho doctor.
Lots of different things cause lower back pain -- in the USA, it's not uncommon to find people with very weak core muscles -- a diagnosis from a physician, and then treatment with muscle relaxers (or anti-inflamatory meds) and a course of physical therapy may help.
Physical therapy isn't much fun -- but, you learn -- and improve!
Sounds like a pinched nerve. Call your doctor or go to a chiropractor. About 5 visits to a chiropractor and you will be as good as new.
Untreated doesn't make it go away.. it does allow the body to compensate to get off the pain iliciting area.. but those changes have an effect further up the spine, at a later time.
Again, people seem to be adverse to putting their age into their questions.. this one thing allows a determination, that can be a bit more accurate.
Your problem is highly suggestive of a lumbar muscular spasm which has pulled the vertebae out of position and are resting on the nerve. Causing an inflamatory condition which allows a swelling, intensifying the symptoms.. again, the age is a factor. If you are over 40, there is already a degenerative process involved. If you have never had this before, there is some indication that this degenerative process is involved. Is best to have xray and other diagnostic tools.
