Other Answers:
Thrush is its common name and it is easily fixed.
to many antibiotics kills out the good bacteria and sometimes lets the bad grow this should explain and help:-)
This is called candidiasis and is caused by candida albicans, a yeast. You have to go to your doctor and get nystatin swish.
maybe you need to try cranberry juice
yeah, what Eddie said.
Don't listen to anyone else on here.
Drinking juice and standing on your head won't make it go away.
Call your MD, he'll probably call you in a prescription to the pharmacy. It's obvious that you have oral fungus from the antibiotics. Just ask him to please call you in a Nystatin prescription.
go to the organic grocery store or an alternative medicine health practitioner and they will tell you about a diet w/o sugar. Or google yeast infection.(be glad it's on your tongue :) )
i "heard" yogurt works. unless it's for another part of the body.
Okay, don't freak, but you have what is called thrush. It is also called a yeast infection if it is in the vagina. PERFECTLY NORMAL. However, you will need to see a doctor. You could try to eat yogurt until you see a doc. The bacteria in the yogurt could help a little. The antibiotics has disturbed your bactiera in the body. You also might get a yeast infection. Cranberry juice helps too.
You can get yeast in your mouth--babies can get it from their mother's birth canal (yuck! YUCK!)--it's called thrush. You can try beneficial bacteria, like unsweetened yogurt (plain--not sweetened with sugar or artificial sweeteners--put some cucumbers and garlic in it for tzatziki sauce--great Greek dip/sauce) or those caplets of bacteria. Make sure they're refrigerated when you buy them--don't get ones if they've been sitting on the shelf. Try acidic foods--berry juice, maybe some citrus fruit. You might get stuck taking an anti-fungal medicine, if this doesn't work. Sorry about all the trouble. Hope this helps--if not, then back to the dr. for some anti-fungals.
