Constipation !!?


Question:
Because of my medication i suffer with bad constipation, i eat prunes and cook chilli with lots of kidney beans and that helps, but im getting a little fed up with these.
Can anyone recommend a food that'll help me ??.

I have some of the same issues. For me the more water I drink the better. Take your weight divide it by two then the number you come up with, drink that many ounces a day. For example I'm 120 so I drink 60 ounces of water a day. If you really hate water do tea, but avoid artificial sweeteners, or anything that isn't a natural ingredient because your body won't get as much liquid out of it if it's processing all of the extra ingredients. It sucks at first, but then after a couple days to a week you'll get used to it. Also look for foods high in fiber. All Bran products are actually quite tasty, Activia yogurt helps your digestive system, and pears are really high in fiber. Also if you go to any pharmacy, or even Walmart you can get Acidophiles, a natural enzyme that really helps my stomach, it certainly wouldn't hurt to try it. Try to eat more all natural foods. Hope these help!
Cut meat out of your diet, or severely limit your intake. Also, lots of veggies and fruit for snacking instead of chips and beer.
