i forgot what the doctor told me to do?

Question: i was taking zyrtec, up until about a week ago when i got a sinus infection - then i stopped taking zyrtec and took sudafed instead (my mom told me not to take both of them together b/c they both alleviate allergy symptoms). i went to the doctor, and she gave me flonase to use 2x daily for 10 days, and said i could keep taking sudafed if i wanted to. but i forgot to ask her if i could start taking zyrtec again. should i keep taking sudafed each day until my sinus infection goes away or should i start taking zyrtec now each day, along with the flonase?

the doctor also gave me amoxicillin to take 3x daily.

Answers:
Keep taking the amoxicillin, use the flonase and the sudaphed until the amoxicillin is completed. Flonase does the same job as zyrtec. So, if you want to use the zyrtec, stop the flonase and the sudaphed.

you can always call the dr (or the receptionist) and either ask the dr. or his nurse...That would be the best thing to do.
