Question:
Answers:
Hi! I fell off of a loading dock, at work a few years ago. I landed on my knee and broke the patella and did some other damage. I was in a full-length plaster cast for 9 long months. After that I had to have intesive rehab therapy.
I was given an amount of $US 16,600. This was a one time payoff.
Hope this answers your question. If you wish, email me and I'll get into some more detail. Good Luck.
Depends on the partial. Depends on your state. Open with future medical being paid. Or option of closed with medical not being covered. You will want to leave open. Could be $60,000. or more. But they will fight you. Will probably try to get you t settle for $10,000. or $15,000. Get a attorney and if your lucky they'll work for you and not them. Attorneys will do it for a share, just make sure it's in writting and you know their cut will be. Do all corespondence with them on paper instead of on the phone. It gives you a chance to think and they can't twist what you said or get you to agree to things you don't know your rights two. By the way, some states have a statue of limitations, so know your laws and rights.
