My body sometimes jolts like an electric shock went though me what is this?

Question:

sometimes mostly when i am in bed i will like jolt sort of its like something has shocked me but it doesnt hurt its just weird its just started happening more recently does anyone know what this could be from?

I have Fibromyalgia and I often experience this as I am falling asleep, and also when I am tired. I am not sure if it is linked to my condition, but i don't think it is as I have noticed my husband do this aswell. As long as you have no other symptoms such as pain, fatigue, weakness etc then I wouldn't worry too much, but if you have then go and see your GP just to put your mind at rest.
