Vinegar will help. Aloe, lots of it. Keep it in the fridge. Cool showers. Stay away from sunlight till your destroyed skin cells can regenerate. Never sunburn again.it can cause melanoma.

vinegar will relieve the burn so will shaving cream good luck

milk on a washcloth works

Use cocoa butter it has healing properties and its loaded with vitamin E and Vitamin D I would like to rub some on you anytime;). Well to get rid of the sting, you should try mixing baking soda and milk into a paste and putting it on for about 5 - 10 mins. Also you could rub aloe on it. Oh and if it's on the top, sleep topless tonight and if it's on the bottom sleep bottomless, kinda just to let it breathe. Hope it helps :]

For quick relief, spray vinegar on the burn. It will cool it down.

If you have access to Desitin ointment, cover the burn with it. It seems to take the heat from the burn.

~Other than melanoma, not really.
Ever heard of sun screen? Or appropriate clothing for conditions?
If the burn was serious enough for sun poisoning, you're never going to be able to spend time in the sun again without a recurrance. But at least you won't be pale, right?

No hot water. Try aloe, make sure it does not have alcohol in it. The best is the kind straight form the plant. Stay cool, drink lots of water, try to stay out of the sun until it heals. If it is really bad try icing it indirectly. But aloe on it and then put ice in a bag for 15 min at a time, any longer and you can cause damage to the area. I hope you feel better and good luck. put a cool, damp towel on your burn when you're just laying around in the house. Try aloe too and wear loose fitting clothing until it heals. And next time be more careful. Sunburns are not only irritating but very dangerous. Hope you feel better. Believe me, I feel your pain. Literally.

Stay out of the sun. Don't use hot water on the burn. Apply aloe vera gel or lotion to the burn several times a day. If you're in a lot of pain pick up a topical spray from the drug store like Lanacaine. Next time you're in the sun wear sunscreen that protects against UVA and UVB rays. Wear sunscreen everyday between the times of 10am-3pm, especially if you have fair skin. Watch for any strange shaped moles that grow as a result of your sun exposure. Protect your skin. Good luck.

slather yourself up with aloe and vit e gel or lotion as often as you can, keep your clothes on and keep yourself covered in sunscreen anytime you go out. I used to get bad sunburns when I was a kid because I was always playing outside, even though I used sunscreen everyday there weren't all these warnings to re-apply after going in the water or sweating. My mom was the same way as a child and being fair skinned she got it worse. Now she is having pre-cancerous things on her skin burned off every 6 months.

Please becareful from now on with the sun.

aloe helps
