I need help, please could you tell me..

Question:
How can I take my ring off my finger? I put it on this morning, it went on fine, but now (because of the heat), my fingers swollen up a bit too much, I've tried cold water, I've tried elevation, I've tried washing up liquid, is there anything else I can do that's not too drastic?

Answers:
YES! Easy as flossing. use your dental floss, thread one end of a long length under your ring, quickly wrap the long end around your finger from the ring up past the knuckle. As soon as you do this, unwrap the other end, the ring will come off as you remove the dental floss!! It is really easy, but don't wrap the floss too tight or leave on for too long as it can cause more swelling. Good luck!

Other Answers:
try butter or vaseline (petroleum jelly). you need a lubricant to get it loose. try to relax your hand too.it'll make it easier.

cooking oil well if it's not to precious to you then theres always the metal file

Try lotion or dishwashing liquid. Make sure you twist as you pull it off. Another thing that i've been people due is use a plastic bag from the grocery store to stick it under the ring and use the bag to pull the ring off. Works with bracelets also.

Try butter, cooking oil and you can also try dish washing liquid! Good Luck :-)

Try to cool your hand down maybe, stick it in the freezer for a while. Stuff something along the door where your arm is so you don't let all the coldness out. take one large knife.
position your finger on the chopping board.

lol, kidding, erm soap is good for getting of rings

Liquid shud work. Thats funny. Try a proper soap cake otherwise.. dont keep tugging at it. Thatll make ur finger worse. If nothng works out, sleep with it on, and try soap again tomorrow morning.. Itll be out
Tc!

Ok, at the mall, in claires or icing they have ring remover at the front of the store, you put it on the ring and on your finger, it'll take a few min. but it works and its free Put your hand above your head for several minutes ( not just a short time), to get rid of any excess fluid.
Relax - stress will make it worse. Do you really need to take it off now? Convince yourself you don't. Take some deep breaths.
Holding a cold drink for a while might help (drinking a cold g&t might help even more :-))
Tug at it for a short time, wriggling it up your finger and relaxing for a while between tugs. Don't try to pull it off in one go.

Any kind of oil will act as a lubricant to help it slip off. This is a trick question isn't it! It worked though, you had them all fooled. Well done.

Of course, being a fish, you don't really have fingers. And nobody noticed!

Or maybe you will say that you really do have fingers, covered in breadcrumbs. Clearly they've defrosted, hence the swelling. Refreeze, and you'll be fine.

that happened to me once - trying on wedding rings a VERY long time ago - thought it would never come off

ordinary but slippery moisturiser did the trick no problem.

is it still there?

lotion, butter
