your right shoulder and upper right side hurt i don't know what the shoulder has to do with anything but those where the symptoms i had and 3hrs later i was in surgery getting mine removed

for me it was pain on the right side under the rib cage (almost like a gas pain) as it got worse extreme sharp pain and nausea progressing to vomiting and hard clay like stools/constipation. i would get the vomiting and sharp pain usually after a fatty meal. after an attack i would just want to sleep. however i never had the elevated liver enzymes or abnormal blood work or a fever. and my symptoms would come on in the middle of the night, very unlike gallbladder, more like an ulcer, but an ultrasound showed an enlarged gallbladder with stones. pain in r.upper abdomen,nausea,vomiting,intole. to fried,spicy foods,clay-colored bowel movements.

Sharp pain in upper right quadrant of the abdomen and pain in right shoulder. Usually the right shoulder pain came with deep breaths. Nausea/ vomiting. Severe acid reflux. Aggravated by fatty and/or acid foods. Too much coffee always made me sicker. The longer you go before being diagnosed and getting the proper treatment, the worse the symptoms become. Fever, jaundice, fatigue, increased pain, anorexia.
