genosgal, the most important thing in getting a good night sleep is actually two things: Comfort and support. You need to feel comfortable in order to get to sleep and you need support in order to feel refreshed and rejuvenated in the morning and not have aches and pains. Be sure that your mattress is of good quality has a matching box springs and gives you both comfort and support. Don't fall into the trap of firm is better is that were the case why not sleep on the floor that is as firm as you can get.

You may want to try an air sleep system such as Select Comfort, they work very well in providing the comfort and support you need, and don't be taken back by the cost, remember you spend 1/3 of your time in bed so you need to pamper yourself and get the best for you. You actually spend more time in bed in one night that you average in your car in a week.

Anyway I hope this helps and have a good nights sleep and sweet dreams.
